The wiggly giggly ball is cute and makes cute noises - I originally bought one at a baby store for my then-2 year old son, but my basset hound quickly took ownership of it (she enjoyed it more anyway). One word of caution is that it is not a chewy ball - if the dog has a desire to chew on it then it will be history in no time.
